WordCamp is a 2-day conference for WordPress users and developers. The first day will focus on how to be a better blogger, the second on the development and future of WordPress. I used Wordpress as the CMS for all the sites I created at Harris Publications, including XXLmag.com and can not say enough good things about it. I'll be at the conference both days.

A fast site for people who like fast cars. 0-60mag.com is the first site at Harris Publications to launch before the magazine.

Jason Brightman has recently moved to San Francisco and is now the Director of web design for PC World and Macworld.

Jason was the Web Director at Harris Publications, one of the nation’s largest special-interest publishers with more than 70 titles. At Harris, Jason was responsible for the strategic direction, design, and development of the online brand extensions for the lead titles, including XXL, KING, RIDES, and SLAM magazines. The new sites deliver targeted music and lifestyle content to pop-culture enthusiasts, while providing an optimized response rate for the advertisers. In addition to his publishing work, Jason has produced a variety of business-to-consumer sites for clients, including Verisign, Domainsbot, and the Warrior-Poets.

Prior to working with Harris Publications, Jason was with Sanpan Design, creating award-winning package design for entertainment properties including HBO's "Six Feet Under", "Carnivale", and "Rome". He has a BFA in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute in New York City.
